Japanese Knotweed Control
Professional Knotweed Treatment Services
Whether you have a small commercial garden or a larger commercial ground, school, or business estate, we provide efficient and effective Japanese Knotweed control services at an affordable cost.
Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia Japonica) is classified as an invasive weed in the UK. It grows at a rapid pace and can cause significant damage to property and its surrounding area. Knotweed can even penetrate concrete and tarmac, with roots extending up to 3m deep! The weed spreads easily through an underground network of stems and roots, necessitating professional treatment for eradication.
Japanese knotweed begins growing in early spring, reaching 1.5m by May and 3m by June, before dying back between September and November.
Signs of Japanese Knotweed:
Fleshy, red-tinged shoots upon emergence
Large, heart or spade-shaped green leaves
Leaves arranged in a zig-zag pattern along the stem
A hollow stem, similar to bamboo
Dense clumps several meters deep
Clusters of cream flowers towards the end of July, attracting bees
Brown stems after dying back between September and November
